The initial set of chairs had very distinctive flaws
and defects in the fabric that are very noticeable which could not be
considered a characteristic but flaws and defects in the fabric and this is
not acceptable.  With that said, we appreciate the efforts taken by

this purchase was excellent.  As with many large purchases we did experience

a problem or two but they were resolved to our complete satisfaction.  The

problems were with the furniture itself (a dining set from Pulaski) not with

furnituregeek.  In fact, the folks at BoSmith and Reliable Trucking are some of

the most professional I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  We had

four different crews from Reliable come to our home and they all were true

professionals.  A special word of praise needs to go to Kristen, VP of OPS

at furnituregeek.  She worked very hard on our behalf to get the issues resolved

with the manufacturer.  I can't image anyone having more patience than she.

She is 100% customer focused - very rare these days.  To say she went way

beyond the call of duty is an understatement.  I highly recommend furnituregeek. We have made many furniture purchases in the past and furnituregeek

confident that even if you do experience a problem they will resolve it, not

I'm a divorced father of two who has become VERY frugal with my money since my divorce.  I do a LOT of research prior to making ANY big purchase and buying furniture was no different.  I went to a LOT of local stores trying to find the bedroom suit I was interested in buying.  Once I found the suit, I came to furnituregeek.com to see if you guys had the same suit and how much it would cost.  At the same time, I was being courted by DirectBuy to "join" their group and they "promised" BIG savings.  So, I told the woman I would come by but the first thing I wanted to know was how much was my suit going to cost me.  I laughed and explained to her the price I received from furnituregeek was lower than DirectBuy.  Oh yeah, and I didn't have to pay for the RIGHT to purchase furniture from you guys; furniture geek simply does business the RIGHT way, they SOLD me.  No bait and switch.  No junk furniture.  No USED furniture. No BS.  Just straight shooting.  I understand having to talk to a customer service rep to get the prices, that's the only realistic way you can protect your prices. 
 
At first, I was concerned that it would take FOREVER for me to get a quote.  Somehow, I lucked out...I got an email from a Diana M, the SAME DAY.  I called her and putting aside her incredibly friendly nature, I felt like she CARED that I bought what I wanted but it wasn't going to ruin her day if I didn't buy it.  At least that is what I thought and felt...until she gave me the quote.  Her quote was literally 32% less than what I got at my local store; she wasn't worried because she was CONFIDENT she had the best price.  Did I mention the price I received from my new best friend, Diana M, INCLUDED shipping where as the local store needed to add an additional $600 to the price.  That brought my discount up to about 40%.  The only problem I had was with the armoire I received...it had some scratches from the factory.  I wasn't sure what to do...afterall, I'm a guy...do us men REALLY care about those things?  Well, Diana M thought I SHOULD. And what did she do?  She went to battle for me.  SHE felt I wasn't treated right by the factory.  Listen to what I am saying....MY SALES REP WENT TO BAT FOR ME!!!!!  I didn't beg her to do it, I didn't cry to her, I didn't really even mention it.  Diana M wanted my purchase to be PERFECT.  Now, I have a new armoire on it's way to be exchanged...free of charge.
Bottom line, I'll tell you the same thing I tell ALL of my friends and coworkers....if you can get it at Furniture Geek.com, you'd be a FOOL/IDIOT not to get it there.  And if you want to be treated like FAMILY, ask for Diana M.  I know I am coming off like I work for the company...I don't.  I used to be in sales and I know what it means to treat the customer right...and Diana M does.  And when I had the one problem with the armoire, Kristen jumped in and fixed everything IMMEDIATELY with getting me a new armoire.  As I said, I've bought a bedroom suit...my leather sofa, chair and ottoman set are being built as we speak...and I'm discussing buying a wall unit next.  Do your due dilligence and come back to furniture geek.  Hopefully I won't get in trouble for this but, skip the 800 number and email diana.m@furnituregeek.com directly...you won't regret it. And when you do, tell her Mike from Maryland said hi and that you want a GREAT deal.  ;-)

*Thanks for a great transaction.  Everything came as expected and in perfect shape.  It looks great in the house and we ended up spending the same as we would in a local furniture store but got the 3 tables too!  The tables make a huge difference in the look of the room.  I am already bragging about you to my friends and family.  I would definitely use Furniture Geek again.

One piece that I received was not what I had expected and Rick, although not my original sales person, took the time to research the exchage and redelivery. It sure does make me feel better to know someone will go out of their way to help. Their customer service has been superior and I would recommend them to anyone looking for furniture.
